Innovative Concepts upgrades all of its client’s Microsoft Exchange Servers for free

If your business uses Innovative Concepts icExchange as its email provider, your administrator received the attached email this week. This means that several Microsoft Exchange servers on the West coast and another group on the East coast were all upgraded to the newest version without any cost or downtime.

If you use Outlook, shouldn’t you be using icExchange too?

Hello,
We have some good news!

We will be upgrading your icExchange service next week from Microsoft Exchange 2010 to Microsoft Exchange 20161.

What does it cost?
Nothing.  This is one of the reasons you have icExchange.

Why are we doing this now?
At the end of this year, Microsoft will end its support of Microsoft Exchange 2010.  Even though we have been adding new clients using Microsoft Exchange 2016 for about 10 months already, we waited until we developed a bulletproof plan before upgrading your account2.

Are there any changes to the service?
No.  Just like before, your icExchange service will include several servers in our west coast facility and several more in our east coast facility.  Additionally, we will continue to replace each server every two years.  These practices help ensure your data is continually available no matter what.

Are there any new features?
Yes!  In addition to all the enhancements Microsoft made, we now give you unlimited mailbox storage and we can add Office 365 for much less than it costs anywhere else (only $60 per year).  Ask us how to utilize icExchange online meeting and icExchange secure portal (manages all your online accounts), which we give you for free.

Will there be any problems?
We want to assure you that we have planned this upgrade to the level you have come to expect from us.  In fact, we even took a backup of your account recently, put it on an isolated server, and upgraded it just to test everything out.

What do you need to do?
You do not need to do anything.  Your Outlook and your mobile devices will automatically see the new servers and you can continue to access your Outlook on the web via http://webmail.icExchange.info3.  With that said, if you get a message acknowledging the change and asking you to confirm our SSL/Security certificate, it is safe to do so.

Are there any exceptions?
There is one.  If you are running Outlook 2007 (or older), you will need to upgrade it to at least 2010.   Please let us know if you need any help with this4.

Questions or comments?
Of course, we are here for you 24x7x365.  Call 805-545-9562 and choose the option for support anytime.

If you use Outlook, shouldn’t you be using icExchange?

Yes, Microsoft Exchange 2016 is the newest version available. As you knew we would :)We routinely setup http://webmail.yourDomain.com for our clients.  If you do not have this, let us know and we will make sure you do.But we trust that none of you are running software that was released more than a decade ago.
